Well, it’s Christmas Eve and I’m having a relaxing evening at home as I try to focus on the sacrifice God made in giving his Son for us. My faith journey has not always been easy – what am I saying – it still isn’t easy. However, this whole ‘relying on God for my finances’ these past few months, has really helped me to grow and trust in God. I’ve been overwhelmed with support from everyone around me and am realizing that it’s healing when I let go of my expectations and rely on God.
A few weeks back I had all of my vaccines – a process which was not as painful as I thought it would be. Wait, let me rephrase, it was a process that I NEVER want to do again, but I did it. So everyone can breathe a sigh of relief and know that I won’t be a malaria or Hepatitis victim. Yippeee!
Anyways, I want to get back to my relaxing and peaceful evening here, but I thought that I would attach a few randomly selected photos for those of you that haven’t seen any pictures from my previous missions trips to look through. I’m guessing that most of my pictures from Tanzania will be similar to some of the photos here which are all from Haiti in 2009.
Blessings to you all this Christmas!
